Thinking about volunteering this fall? GREAT! Whether this is your first time or you have been part of youth sports coaching for years, there is always an opportunity to learn new things. Please join us WEDNESDAY, August 24 at 6:00 PM (rain date Friday, August 26 at 6:00 PM) at the upper field near Chester Academy, for a free clinic on coaching youth soccer. Special thanks to Chester’s own Octavio Lopez for offering this training. All are welcome!

Background Checks – Any day
All Chester Recreation volunteers must undergo background checks every three years. Get yours in before the season starts by heading to the Chester Police Dept for the fingerprint portion, then mosey on over to the Recreation office to fill out the volunteer form. Contact the offices ahead of time, or go without an appointment on a Wednesday afternoon for fingerprinting from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
