There’s a lot to be excited about this weekend!
Parade:
Join us for the walk to the fair!
Wear your Chester soccer shirt and join your teammates, friends, and neighbors as we walk down with the soccer program to the rec fields, then spend the day at the fair! Please park behind the MPR at 10:45 and then gather in front of the building by 11. Parade step off is at 11:15 am. All are welcome! This will be a lot of fun, please join us!
Following the parade, be sure to stop by the town fair for great food, activities, vendors and more! Can’t get to the parade? That’s okay, we know that everyone has a game on Saturday. Swing by the Soccer Booth, near the FAR side soccer net, at town fair and say hi!
Town Fair:
This Saturday, Sept 11, is also the Chester Town Fair. Rec Soccer has a fundraising booth and equipment swap all afternoon. If you are looking for stuff, come get it- it’s FREE! If you have old cleats and shin guards you’d like to move out of your garage, bring them to the red collection bins at the upper field shed Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30- 8:30 pm, or bring donations directly to the booth on Saturday.
This annual event draws many people into town and there’s no better way to show them our town and team pride. Join us!
Registrations:
It’s not too late! We really need more kids ages 10 and up. If you have any friends who would like to come occasionally, we will take them! If the late fee is a burden, let me know. We never turn away kids for financial reasons! Please send them to our website for information and a link to the registration www.chesternhsoccerclub.com
Shirts:
We have a lot more kids than we projected this season. What a GREAT problem to have… but it means we have handed out most of the shirts we ordered and a few people still need one. I do apologize for the inconvenience. Please check in with your coach or age group coordinator for details.
