Coordinators: Each age group needs one coordinator, preferably not a coach. Before the season begins the coordinator will help recruit coaches and divide the athletes onto equal teams, accounting for both skill level and gender. The coordinator also acts as a liaison between parents and coaches and ensures that the coaches have the equipment and information they need to run smooth and organized practices and games. Coordinators are responsible to relaying game times and schedule changes to the coaches in their age group as well as coordinating any out of league games. If coaches have behavioral problems, the coordinators will be brought in to sort out issues before turning to the board at large. Each coordinator becomes a Chester NH Soccer Club Board Member, and may vote at board meetings.
Coordinators don’t necessarily need to have children in the assigned age group. This is a great opportunity for working parents, there are no nightly or weekly commitments. Most everything is done by e-mail. Access to a google e-mail account helpful!
